If you like having fresh cut flowers in your home every day, a cutting garden is a great way to accomplish that.

About Queen City Gardeners

About Me

My name is Amy White.  I am a native Charlottean and my family has been in North Carolina since the 1600's.  I have my Bacehlors Degree in Chemistry and I love plants and gardening and designing. I am a mother of 5. After moving into my house with 2.5 acres of yard, I saw there was a huge need for gardeners that do gardening tasks rather than just landscaping.  My love of plants and science led me to becoming a Master Gardener with the NC State Extension.  I have been gardening my entire life, but I recently found a love for protecting the environment while also growing beautiful plants.  Gardening allows me to be creative, get outside in nature, connect with my inner science nerd, and keep my body strong.  It is the best of all things that I love.  I look forward to helping you grow your garden.
